Surah Waqiah Audio 1.12

This Surah, revealed in Makkah, consists of 96 verses. In Islamic teachings, it is mentioned that reciting this Surah brings focus and protection from destitution. Moreover, various narrations attribute spiritual benefits to the recitation of Surah al-Waqi'ah. According to Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (a.s.), reciting this Surah results in a radiant countenance on the Day of Judgment. Imam Ja'far as-Sadiq (a.s.) mentions that regular recitation on Fridays leads to divine favor and people's affection, along with protection from adversity and poverty, aligning one with the virtues of Imam Ali (a.s.). Supplicating with this Surah for the deceased grants forgiveness for their sins, easing their transition to the afterlife.

Traditions also suggest that possessing this Surah aids in increasing sustenance. Imam Ali Zainul Abideen (a.s.) advises reciting it progressively throughout the lunar month, correlating repetitions with the calendar date, culminating on the fourteenth night, to observe significant growth in livelihood.
